Edge Reversi
Edge Reversi is a "scientific" version of the traditional Othello game. You play against the computer which has gained intelligence from 10 000 previous games.
Frendz
From the authors of the beloved Elf Bowling game, Frendz delivers the same cute fun and animated silliness. Just as in the traditional Othello game, you are to surround the other player's markers (here aliens). Frendz is well-crafted entertainment that should appeal to most people and in particular to those who are still young at heart. The game has a handful of skill levels to choose from (even the simpliest level is not all trivial to win).
PC REQUIREMENTS: Pentium II 200 MHz CPU, 64 MB RAM, 2 MB videocard
Hexxagon
I'll admit that I am a sucker for a good boardgame, and since I love Hexxagon, I'm pretty sure that those out there who share my passion for such games will agree that it is one of the most addicting two player thinking games you'll ever play. A cross between the classic PC game Attaxx and the ancient game of Othello, the object of Hexxagon is to convert all of your opponent's pieces, each of which occupies one of the boards many hexes, into your own piece. Unlike Othello, though, where you must surround the other player's piece in order to capture, in Hexxagon you simply (tee hee) must, by either jumping or multiplying one of your own pieces, play a piece next to one of your opponent's. As the Milton Bradley box proudly boasts, Othello is the game that 'Takes a Minute to Learn, a Lifetime to Master'. The same certainly holds true for Hexxagon, a game which I first played years ago, and hold to my bosom as dearly as that first time the computer blew my newbie skills away.
Bottom Line: A must-download for all who can't get enough of games like Go, Checkers, Othello/Reversi, and other such old favorites.
