  3D Breakout
3D Breakout features 15 levels of stunning graphics and crispy sound effects that will blow your mind away! This game is simply a paddle game that belongs to the higher dimension of game creativity. It's OpenGL empowered with very cool particle effects and a rendered 3D well in which the ball bounces. You can change the game settings in the gameplay (press F2) to set the bat power, particle density etc. If the game runs too slow or you have a hard time to see the ball, disable the particle rendering. It's a little tricky to get adjusted to the prespective. NOTE: The source code (written in C using VC++) is included with the game.

PC REQUIREMENTS: 3D videocard with OpenGL support

  3d Spryjinx
Spryjinx is a vertical scrolling game which is a combination of Q-Bert and an atari game called Quick Step. The game is almost exactly the same as the 2d version of spryjinx but the graphics are 3d and some of the game is slightly different. I think the original Spryjinx is more fun than the 3d version of the game. The new version has new power-ups and a few other changes.

  Absolute Mastermind
Absolute Mastermind is truly a great Mastermind clone with amazingly cool FX features! This game quickly ascended as one of my all-time favorite PC games. Grab it! The game authors have even put lots of effort into the layout of the game configuration menu. The game comes in 1 or 2 player mode, 3 levels of difficulty, skinable and much more.

PC REQUIREMENTS: 200 MHz CPU, DirectX8

  Abuse
Abuse is a detailed shooting game. Although it is commercial software freeware versions were created from the public domain source code and graphics of the game. As the only person immune to the abuse gene, you must fight your way through mutants so that you can save the world and escape to freedom. You can use various weapons and abilities (i.e. flying) to fight through the humans who were infected with the gene. There is also a level editor (using command line parameter -edit).
NB: The DOS version (Free Abuse, aka fRaBs) requires 5.4MB of free space. It may contain different levels but it contains the same gameplay. It's homepage is here and explains how to use network play in Free Abuse.

  Ac!dbomb

This game is awesome. In it, you are a bomb defusal expert for the Department of Homeland Security. You first learn how to p;ay the game, and then are confronted with several types of ever more difficult bombs.

The game screen consists of a pattern of black octagons. At the top right of the screen, there is a number. This is the number of pistons you must defuse. However, you must find the pistons first.

This is done with several beams of light, called SDU's. Next to the total piston number, there is a number that is how many pistons are hidden in the spaces crossed by the SDU's.

To help yourself, you are able to label spaces without a piston with an X, or a ? if you are not sure (like minesweeper). If you confirm that a spac contains a piston, you must label it with a !. There is a counter on the right side of the screen indicating how many ! you have placed. If this number exceeds the number of pistons, you have done something wrong.

That is all good and fine, but it gets better. all bombs have a timer. Once that timer reaches around 6 seconds, the screen begins to shake. At 3 seconds, a noise akin to a turbine begins. At 0, the screen flashes white, and you are asked if you want to restart the level. You only have one chance to find out if you are right, and a single messed up square will result in the bomb exploding at the end of the timer.

When you are confident that your answer is right, you can press Enter to run the clock down to 10 seconds. Then you must wait in anticipation and or anxiety, to see if the bomb explodes. The screen shakes, the noise winds up, and...MISSION COMPLETE.

This game is really action packed for a puzzle game. There are several types of bomb, each adding a unique gameplay element, and there are even some obstacles that interrupt your bomb-defusing abilities. I highly suggest you read through the manual. Not only is is dressed up like a government document, but it reveals all of the bomb's specialties, and tells you of the bonuses you get when you beat all 50 levels. Every time you play one of the fifty levels, it is different. That's right. Infinite gameplay.

This is yet another Mr. Chubigans Work of Art. Eat your heart out.
